The Ironclad
$340
4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive
Our flagship engine. Black walnut boiler, hard maple bands, turned brass bell — the piece the whole collection is built around.

Design rendering, shown in hard maple and cherry. Photographs replace these as the first production run comes off the bench. Grain and colour vary board to board — no two will be identical.
Boxcar Trio
$215
Made to order · 3–4 weeks
Three cars, three woods, one job: show a child what different trees look like side by side. Pale hard maple, honey cherry and dark black walnut, finished identically so the only difference you see is the tree.
Each door rides in a milled brass track and slides open with one finger. There is no catch and no spring, because there is nothing in a child's toy that benefits from a spring.
Bought together they cost less than three cars bought singly, and they are the fastest way to turn one locomotive into an actual train.
Adding a piece starts a quote — it does not charge you. We reply within two business days with a firm price and a build date.
Recommended for ages three and up. These pieces contain small parts and are not intended for children under three. Finished in a plant-based, food-safe hardwax oil with no lacquer or polyurethane. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — never submerge, and never put it in a dishwasher.
