Shipping & Lead Times
Everything is made to order, so the build time matters more than the transit time. Both are quoted to you in writing before you pay anything.
Build times
Rolling stock is two to three weeks. Locomotives are three to four. The depot is four to five, and the complete Division Set is five to six. Commissions run four to ten weeks depending on what is involved.
Between September and November these stretch. Christmas orders close in the first week of October.
Transit
Ground shipping within the lower 48 is free on orders over $250 and $14 below that. Everything goes double-boxed with tracking.
Alaska, Hawaii and international orders are quoted individually — the boxes are light and bulky, so a flat rate would either overcharge you or lose us money. Duties and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility.
If it arrives damaged
Photograph the box before you unpack any further and email us the same day. We replace or repair carrier damage at our cost, and we do not ask you to fight the carrier for it.
