The Ironclad
$340
4-6-2 Pacific Locomotive
Our flagship engine. Black walnut boiler, hard maple bands, turned brass bell — the piece the whole collection is built around.

Design rendering, shown in hard maple and milk paint. Photographs replace these as the first production run comes off the bench. Grain and colour vary board to board — no two will be identical.
Cupola Caboose
$130
Made to order · 2–3 weeks
The caboose is the piece people get sentimental about, so we finish it the old way: a barn-red milk paint, rubbed back with a grey pad until the grain reads through, then oiled. It is a colour, not a coating.
The cupola on the roof is a separate turned-and-fitted assembly rather than a shape carved into the body, and the end platform has a real maple railing a brakeman could hold on to.
Nothing on this car is stickered or printed. Everything you can see is either wood, paint or brass.
Adding a piece starts a quote — it does not charge you. We reply within two business days with a firm price and a build date.
Recommended for ages three and up. These pieces contain small parts and are not intended for children under three. Finished in a plant-based, food-safe hardwax oil with no lacquer or polyurethane. Wipe clean with a damp cloth — never submerge, and never put it in a dishwasher.
